redo VIM Command
How to use redo Command in Linux VIM editor?
Explanation
Ctrl + r stands for redo
This command is used to redo the undone changes in the editor. If you have performed the undo for more number of times then you can redo it using this command.
Usage:
Ctrl + r
Example:
- Open the file test.txt using the command
$ vim test.txt
- The text in the file is
Hiox Software
Vim tutorial
Hiox India
- Move the cursor to second line and delete that line.
Press dd

- To undo the deletion
Press :u

- To reverse the operation, use the redo command.
Press ctrl+r
