Spell checking in powerpoint is made easy by using the menu bar option 'Tools -> Spelling'. Spelling check
enables to change a word, ignore a word or add a new word to the existing dictionary. There is also an 'Autocorrect' option

In the above example, the words like spel, chek are changed.
But words like symbol are ignored.
'Autocorrect' option is used to correct the words automatically.
