DATEVALUE Function
The DATEVALUE function returns the respective serial number of the given date.
Note: In excel, the serial number of 1-Jan-1900 is 1 and the function returns the serial number for dates up to 31-Dec-9999.
Formula:
=DATEVALUE(Date Text)
Whereas "Date Text" is the date in any of the formats that can be used in Microsoft Excel. This will be converted to the corresponding serial number.
Note: Function returns #VALUE! error if date mentioned is not in the range 1-Jan-1900 and 31-Dec-9999.
