The ATAN function returns the arctangent (inverse tangent) of the given number. Arctangent is nothing but an angle and its tangent value is a number. Note: The returned angle is given in the range -pi/2 to pi/2 (in radians).

=ATAN(Number) Whereas "Number" is the tangent of the angle we want to find.
