The LOG () is a math and trig function which takes ‘number, base’ as an argument and returns the logarithm of a number to the base you specify.
Formula:
=LOG(number, base) In the above syntax, the number argument denotes a positive real number for which you want the logarithm, the argument base denotes the base of the logarithm. If base is omitted, it is assumed to be 10.
