What is the Task Pane in Powerpoint?

Task pane in Microsoft Powerpoint 2002

Task pane in powerpoint is found on the right of powerpoint presentation and displays so many option like getting started, powerpoint help, slide, new presentation, design templates, color schemes, animation schemes.Task Pane can be added using 'View -> Toolbars -> Taskpane' from the menu bar.

Description:

In the above example, a blank presentation is added. Then using 'Slide Layout' text, content layout is chosen.
Design templates, Color Templates, Animation schemes are chosen.
Templates already present in a website can be added using 'Templates on my website'.
Templates can also be downloaded from 'Microsoft.com' website.
Thus the task pane can be used in powerpoint effectively.
