The String Operators in PHP are the concatenation operator (.), other operator is the concatenating assignment operator.
Concatenation Operator
Example
<?php
$a = "Good";
$b = $a . "Night!";
?>
In the above example value of $a is concatenated to string "night" and stored as the
value of $b. This operator usually concatenates the arguments on the left and right.
Assignment Concatenation Operator
Example
<?php
$a = "Good";
$a .= "Night!";
?>
In the above example value stored in $a is concatenated with the string "night", using the operator
(.=).
