The "array_fill()" function is used fill an array with values.

    array_fill(start,number,value)

In the above syntax "start" is the starting key, "number" is the number of elements to be entered with the "value".

    $b = array_fill(5, 3, 'bar');
    $a = array_fill(4, 2, 'fruit');
    print_r($b);
    print_r($a);
    ?>

    Array
     (
      [5]=> bar
      [6]=> bar
      [7]=> bar
      )
    Array
     (
      [4]=> fruit
      [5]=> fruit
     )

In the above example,the array "$b" from the fifth element to another three element's are filled with the value "bar".In the array "$a" from the fourth element to another two elements are filled with value "fruit".
