The List is simply an ordered set of scalar data. A list name is represented with
the '@' symbol. A List name cannot start with a number, but it can have the same
conventional naming system.
The only difference between an Array and a List is that array refers to variable name that
holds the lists, whereas List is the real data contained in it.
Example:
#! C:\programfiles\perl\bin\perl
print "content-type: text/html\n\n";
@numbers =(1,2,3);
print "<br>";
print @numbers;
Result:
123
In the above example the scalar data in the list "number" is printed in the same order
as it is stored.
