Topic |
How to Delete a File in Perl programming?
|
|
Explanation |
|
To delete a file, the function used in perl is unlink().
Syntax:
unlink(filepath)
In the above syntax the "filepath" is the name of the file to be deleted.
Example:
#! C:\programfiles\perl\bin\perl
print "content-type: text/html\n\n";
@set = ("file1.txt","file2.txt");
foreach $file (@set)
{
unlink($set);
}
In the above example the files to be deleted are stored in an array "set", in a loop each
file is deleted using the ulink() function.
