"fn:substringAfter" is a string function of JSP Standard Tag Library(JSTL). This function is used to extract the portion of a string after the specified substring.
Syntax:
String:fn:substringAfter(string,substring)
In the above syntax the "string" and "substring" are of Data type "String".
Example:
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/functions"
prefix="fn" %>
<p><b>String after "hiox" in "hioxindia"::</b></p>
${fn:substringAfter('hioxindia','hiox')}
Result
String after "hiox" in "hioxindia"::
india
In the above example the characters after the substring "hiox" is got from the
string "hioxindia".
