Subselection Tool is used to select and change the shape of an image in different ways.

The above video teaches you how to select and change the shape using the "Sub-selection Tool".
First draw an rectangle using the "Rectangle Tool".
Choose the "Subselection Tool" from the tool bar.
Click on the rectangle image to get the handles on the outline or stroke of the image.
Simply drag the "handles" to change the shape of the rectangle.
