How to use Shape Tween in Flash?




Explanation

Shape Tween is used to perform animation from one shape to another to have a morphing or tweening effect.

Morphing/Tweening Animation Effect:

The above video teaches you how to perform animation of a rectangle into a circle using morphing or tweening effect.

  • In a new layer, select the "keyframe" to draw an rectangle.
  • At the expected endpoint of animation, insert a blank frame.
  • Draw an "oval" shape in a different color on the stage by selecting the blank key frame.
  • To give an morphing or tweening effect, add a motion tween to the keyframe.
  • Press ctrl+Enter to view the movie to know how a shape is converted from a rectangle to oval shape.
