|
|
Explanation |
|
strcpy() manipulation function is used copy the characters of one string to another.
Syntax:
char * strcpy ( char * destination, const char * source );
Using the above syntax, copying of characters from "source" to "destination" string can be done.
Example:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <cstring.h>
int main ()
{
char astr []="Source string";
char bstr [20];
strcpy (bstr,astr);
printf ("The content copied from astr
to bstr is: %s\n", bstr);
return 0;
}
|
Result:
The content copied from astr to bstr is: Source string
In the above example, this manipulation function is used to copy the characters of "astr" to "bstr".
