How is Mathematical Function "log10()" used in C++?
How to find the base 10 Logarithm of a number?

Explanation |
|
log10() is a Mathematical Function that returns the base 10 logarithm for the given "num". This function triggers
a domain error when the "num" is negative and a range error occurs if the "num" is zero.
Syntax to find the Logarithm:
float log10( float num );
double log10( double num );
long double log10( long double num );
Example:
#include <iostream.h>
#include <cmath.h>
int main()
{
cout << "Log10 of 100 is:: " << log10(100) << endl;
cout << "Log10 of 1000 is:: " << log10(1000) << endl;
return 0;
}
|
Result:
Log10 of 100 is:: 2
Log10 of 1000 is:: 3
In the above example log10() is used to find the base 10 logarithm for a "num".
